The Apal 21541 Stalker is a rare Belgian-built off-road vehicle developed by Apal (Application Polyester Armé de Liège) during the 1970s. Designed as a lightweight, rugged 4×4, the Stalker was intended for recreational off-roading and utility use, combining simple mechanical components with a durable fiberglass body.

Built on a Volkswagen-based chassis, the Apal 21541 Stalker typically used air-cooled VW engines, making it easy to maintain and repair. Its open body design, short wheelbase, and high ground clearance provided excellent maneuverability on rough terrain. The Stalker reflects the era’s minimalist off-road philosophy, focusing on mechanical simplicity rather than comfort or luxury. Today, it remains a niche collector’s vehicle, appreciated for its uniqueness and classic dune-buggy-inspired character.
