Chevrolet Lumina / Also known as :
These models, Opel Omega, Vauxhall Carlton, Holden Commodore, Holden Calais, Chevrolet Omega, and Chevrolet Lumina, all share the same engineering roots within General Motors’ global platform for large rear-wheel-drive sedans. Depending on the market, they were sold under different brands but offered similar layouts, engines, and dimensions. Each version reflected local preferences while maintaining the core DNA of a comfortable, powerful, and well-built executive car.
The Chevrolet Lumina was a mid-size sedan and coupe produced from 1989 to 2001 in North America, designed to replace the Chevrolet Celebrity. Known for its spacious interior and smooth ride, it was available in several trims, including a sportier Z34 version. Outside the U.S., the Lumina name was also used on rebadged Holden and Daewoo models in markets like the Middle East and South Africa.
