The Cizeta V16T is an ultra-rare Italian supercar from the early 1990s, renowned for its extreme engineering and cult status among collectors. Created by Claudio Zampolli with financial backing from composer Giorgio Moroder, Cizeta set out to build a no-compromise supercar that defied conventional design norms.
Its most distinctive feature is a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine, mounted transversely in a mid-engine layout, hence the “T” in V16T, producing around 540 horsepower. Paired with a 5-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels, it delivered supercar-level performance for its time. The styling, penned by Marcello Gandini, bears a strong resemblance to the Lamborghini Diablo, representing an even more radical interpretation of Gandini’s design language.
With fewer than 20 cars built, the Cizeta V16T is now an exceptionally valuable collector’s car, celebrated for its bold ambition and one-of-a-kind mechanical layout.
