This group (Daihatsu Terios, Daihatsu Be-go, Toyota Cami, and Toyota Rush) represents the compact SUV platform co-developed by Daihatsu and Toyota. These models share the same mechanical base and philosophy: a lightweight, agile, and practical SUV designed for global markets. Each version reflects local preferences, from the urban-friendly Cami to the family-oriented Rush, while maintaining the same spirit of versatility and reliability.
The Daihatsu Be-go, introduced in 2006, is essentially the second-generation Terios under a different name for certain markets, such as Japan. It maintained the Terios’s compact SUV spirit while featuring updated styling and enhanced interior quality. With optional all-wheel drive and a lively small-displacement engine, the Be-go was positioned as a youthful, energetic SUV ideal for urban environments and light outdoor adventures.
