The Daihatsu Storia is a compact hatchback produced from 1998 to 2004, designed as a practical and lightweight city car. Built on a shared platform with the Toyota Duet, it offered efficient small-displacement engines, front- or four-wheel drive, and a surprisingly roomy interior for its size. The Storia’s combination of reliability, agility, and fuel efficiency made it popular in Japan and several export markets, where it was also known as the Daihatsu Sirion.

These compact hatchbacks were co-developed by Daihatsu and Toyota (and briefly rebadged by Subaru) to offer a small, efficient, and reliable urban car.
Across generations, they kept the same lightweight structure and practical design, while adopting different names depending on the market, from the Storia/Duet duo of the early 2000s to the Boon/Passo sold in Japan and the Sirion/Justy in export markets.
