The Lamborghini Miura is widely regarded as the world’s first supercar with a mid-engine layout. Produced between 1966 and 1973, it broke with traditional front-engine designs and introduced a radical new style and performance standard. With a transversely mounted V12 engine and elegant Bertone styling, the Miura became an icon of 1960s automotive design and performance.
