Mitsubishi Town BOX / Also known as :
These compact microvans are derived from the Mitsubishi Town Box, a Japanese kei car introduced in the late 1990s. Designed to meet kei car regulations, it uses a unibody structure and, in early generations, a rear-mounted small-displacement gasoline engine.

The Nissan Clipper Rio is the badge-engineered passenger version sold through Nissan in Japan. The Proton Juara is a Malaysian-assembled adaptation based on an earlier Town Box generation, positioned as a compact urban MPV for regional markets.

All variants emphasize space efficiency within a very small footprint, targeting urban transportation and light passenger use rather than global mainstream distribution.
