The Opel Speedster is a lightweight two-seater sports car developed by Opel in collaboration with Lotus. Produced between 2000 and 2005, it shares its chassis with the Lotus Elise but features a distinct Opel design and engines sourced from General Motors. Built from aluminum and composite materials, the Speedster delivers sharp handling, excellent balance, and a raw, driver-focused experience. Despite its modest power, its low weight makes it a true driver’s car admired by enthusiasts.
