Scion Xd / Also known as :
The Toyota Ist, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Scion xA, Scion xD and Toyota Urban Cruiser Ist are regional names and successive generations/trim variants of the same compact hatchback family. They share core platforms and engineering while differing in styling, trim and market positioning; all focus on practical, city-oriented packaging and efficient operation.
The Scion xD is the successor to the xA (North America) and corresponds to the second-generation Toyota Ist. It was also exported as the Toyota Urban Cruiser in some markets. With slightly larger dimensions and a 1.8-L engine in many specs, the xD emphasized practicality and modern cabin features for city drivers.
