Subaru Dex / Also known as :
The Toyota bB platform was shared across several compact box-shaped models. Toyota sold it as the bB in Japan, Scion marketed the first-generation (2003-2006) version in North America as the xB, while Daihatsu rebadged it as the Coo (2006-2012) and later as the Materia (2006-2012). Subaru also offered a twin under the name Dex (2006-2012). All share identical underpinnings and mechanicals, differing only in brand-specific trim, badging, and minor styling details.
The Subaru Dex (2006-2012) is Subaru’s rebadged version of the second-generation Toyota bB, sold in select markets. It shares the same boxy body, flexible seating, and efficient small-capacity engines, but features Subaru’s front-end styling, badging, and slightly tuned suspension. The Dex offers MPV practicality with Subaru brand character.
