The Suzuki Escudo (known as Vitara in many markets) is a compact SUV introduced in 1988. Available in 4WD with a lightweight unibody or later chassis versions, it features selectable low-range transfer case and efficient petrol engines. Over successive generations, the Escudo evolved into a modern crossover with spacious interior, touchscreen infotainment, and advanced safety features while retaining its off-road roots.
