The Toyota bB platform was shared across several compact box-shaped models. Toyota sold it as the bB in Japan, Scion marketed the first-generation (2003-2006) version in North America as the xB, while Daihatsu rebadged it as the Coo (2006-2012) and later as the Materia (2006-2012). Subaru also offered a twin under the name Dex (2006-2012). All share identical underpinnings and mechanicals, differing only in brand-specific trim, badging, and minor styling details.
The Toyota bB is a box-shaped compact MPV produced from 2000 to 2005 (first generation) and 2005 to 2016 (second generation). It features a tall roofline, flexible seating, and a range of small-displacement engines. Designed for urban practicality, the bB offers excellent headroom, versatile cargo configurations, and a distinctive youthful design.
