The Toyota Duet is a rebadged version of the Daihatsu Storia, sold by Toyota between 1998 and 2004. It retained the same mechanical components and body design, offering a small, efficient, and easy-to-drive hatchback suited to urban environments. The Duet provided Toyota buyers with an affordable, compact car combining Japanese reliability, smooth handling, and impressive fuel economy.

These compact hatchbacks were co-developed by Daihatsu and Toyota (and briefly rebadged by Subaru) to offer a small, efficient, and reliable urban car.
Across generations, they kept the same lightweight structure and practical design, while adopting different names depending on the market, from the Storia/Duet duo of the early 2000s to the Boon/Passo sold in Japan and the Sirion/Justy in export markets.
