The Bajaj Qute is a lightweight four-wheeled quadricycle developed by Indian manufacturer Bajaj Auto as an economical alternative to conventional passenger cars and three-wheeled auto rickshaws. Introduced in 2015 and also known as the Bajaj RE60 during its development, it features a compact enclosed body, seating for four occupants, and a rear-mounted single-cylinder engine driving the rear wheels. Available with petrol or compressed natural gas (CNG) powertrains depending on the market, the Qute emphasizes low fuel consumption, affordable operating costs, and easy maneuverability in congested urban environments. Designed primarily for short-distance transportation and commercial passenger services, it prioritizes efficiency and practicality over speed and performance.
