The DKW 3=6 is a compact car produced in the 1950s by the German manufacturer DKW, part of Auto Union. Its name refers to its three-cylinder two-stroke engine, which was claimed to deliver performance comparable to a six-cylinder four-stroke engine. Available in several body styles including sedan, coupe, and wagon, the 3=6 featured front-wheel drive, which was relatively advanced for its time. It is known for its simple engineering, lightweight construction, and role in post-war European motoring.
