Mitsubishi eK Space - Versions & models

The Mitsubishi eK Space is a compact tall-wagon kei car developed by Mitsubishi Motors for the Japanese domestic market. Introduced in 2014, it combines the compact exterior dimensions required by Japan's kei car regulations with a spacious, high-roof cabin and sliding rear doors for convenient passenger access. Developed in cooperation with Nissan, it shares its engineering foundations with the Nissan Dayz Roox and later Nissan Roox. Depending on the generation, the eK Space features naturally aspirated or turbocharged 660 cc three-cylinder petrol engines, with mild-hybrid technology available on selected versions. Offered with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission (CVT), it emphasizes interior versatility, fuel efficiency, and everyday practicality for urban families.
