The Vauxhall Insignia is a mid-size family car developed by General Motors for the UK market. Introduced in 2008 as a replacement for the Vectra, it marked a major step forward in design, build quality, and driving dynamics. Available as a sedan, liftback, or Sports Tourer wagon depending on the generation, the Insignia balances comfort, interior space, and road performance.

It is offered with a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines, including all-wheel-drive configurations and high-performance VXR versions. With its modern technology, comfortable ride, and versatility, the Vauxhall Insignia is well suited for both family use and long-distance driving.
Vauxhall Insignia / Also known as :
The Vauxhall Insignia, Opel Insignia, Buick Regal, and Holden Commodore belong to the same family of mid-size to full-size sedans developed under General Motors, sharing common platforms, engineering solutions, and core mechanical components. These vehicles were marketed under different brands worldwide to suit regional preferences in styling, brand identity, and market positioning.

The Opel and Vauxhall Insignia form the European foundation of the model, while the Buick Regal serves as its North American and Asian counterpart, typically emphasizing comfort and refinement. In its later generations, the Holden Commodore became a rebadged version of the Insignia, replacing the traditionally Australian-developed Commodore with a global GM product.

Despite their different names and market-specific tuning, all these models follow the same philosophy: delivering spacious, comfortable, and versatile sedans or wagons, suitable for daily driving and long-distance travel, with a wide range of gasoline, diesel, and performance-oriented powertrains depending on the market.
