Toyota Vista / Also known/sold as :
The Toyota Camry, Toyota Vista, Toyota Scepter, Toyota Aurion, Daihatsu Altis, and Holden Apollo are closely related mid-size and large family cars developed or marketed through Toyota's international vehicle platforms. The Camry serves as the central model, while the Vista and Scepter represent closely related Japanese-market variants from specific generations. The Daihatsu Altis and Holden Apollo were rebadged versions of the Camry, whereas the Toyota Aurion was developed as a more distinct derivative with market-specific styling and positioning. Although their relationships vary by generation and region, these models share important engineering foundations and illustrate Toyota's global approach to platform sharing, regional branding, and family sedan development.

The Toyota Vista is a mid-size sedan primarily developed for the Japanese domestic market. Introduced in the early 1980s, it was closely related to the Toyota Camry and shared many of its mechanical components and platforms. The Vista featured a comfortable interior, practical design, and a range of petrol engines designed for efficient everyday driving. Built on a front-wheel-drive layout with a transverse engine, it was positioned as a refined family sedan offering reliability and smooth ride quality. The model remained part of Toyota’s domestic lineup for several generations before being discontinued in the early 2000s.
